Hollister Charter School (Hollister Charter) is a newly proposed charter school which serves students in grades Kindergarten through 6th Grade in and around the Magic Valley area near Twin Falls, Idaho. The Charter is dedicated to providing rigorous academics, enriching student experiences, and exceptional leadership development. The founders envision a school that emphasizes rigor and resilience with community ties focusing on civic responsibility, agricultural heritage and traditional learning.
Hollister Charter will implement the successful academic model of Alturas International Academy, which has demonstrated exceptional results for students in Idaho Falls. This model surpasses local traditional school districts by adhering closely to Idaho’s English Language Arts and Mathematics standards. Students are taught in small groups based on their instructional levels, irrespective of age or grade. Teachers employ diverse methods and tools in the classroom to guarantee measurable academic growth for each student every year.
